
HR Administrator Apprenticeship

Contract: Full Time
Salary: £15,704 per annum
This role supports the smooth and efficient running of the department and looks after the administration of everything relating to colleagues.
- Champion the Champneys culture, ensuring all colleagues are aware of the aspirations of Champneys and our brand principles.
- Work in collaboration with our hiring managers and ensure that every stage of the employee lifecycle is in line with our core values.
- Champion the Aspirational Managers programme. Supporting with selection and recruitment and working in conjunction with the HRD to ensure the smooth running of the programme.
- Ensure all administration relating to new starters, transfers, promotions and leavers, probations is completed and maintained.
- Be responsible for issuing all new starter documentation, ensuring compliance with start dates and issuing and return of job descriptions.
- Ensure all hiring managers communicate with candidates through each stage of the recruitment process.
- Ensure reference checks are completed and returned for all contracted colleagues.
- Provide administrative support to the team, for example with invite letters, confirmation letters and any other administration support.
- Ensure all documents are uploaded to the HR and Payroll system.
- Ensure all physical and electronic personal files are in excellent order and are in line with GDPR regulations.
Skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn new systems such as our in-house HR/Payroll system.
- Ability to manage and organise your working time effectively.
- Approachable; our aim is to enhance employee engagement.
- You must be aware of your responsibilities for safeguarding confidentiality and preserving information security.
Your Apprenticeship
As an apprentice, you will complete a Level 3 Business Administration course, typically lasting 15 months, which includes an endpoint assessment
The course will cover, but is not limited to, the following topics:
- Business Knowledge and Understanding: Gaining an understanding of organizational purpose, values, and vision.
- IT Skills: Developing proficiency in using various IT tools and systems for tasks such as document creation, data management, and financial processes.
- Record and Document Production: Learning how to accurately create and manage documents, reports, and records.
- Decision-Making: Sharpening the ability to make sound decisions based on available information.
- Planning and Organisation: Building strong organisational skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Enhancing your ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Business Fundamentals: Acquiring knowledge of core business concepts and principles.
- Regulation and Policies: Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
