Food & Beverage Manager

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the management and running of the food and beverage operation ensuring a high standard of service and providing a fine dining experience to our guests.

You will lead your Assistant Manager and Supervisors in ensuring that there is effective management on the floor, and that the team are fully trained in all aspects of the F&B Operation.

We have high standards and in-depth knowledge of our Food; you will ensure these standards are maintained and your team is consistently informed and motivated to deliver an exceptional service.

Some duties and responsibilities as the Food & Beverage Manager include;

• To maximise average spends and understand the construction of a budget to influence profit and loss results.
• To work closely with the Cost Controller to monitor stock movement, to ensure stock security and to adjust prices where necessary to ensure correct margins are met.
• To provide training and development opportunities for employees in Food and Beverage procedures.
• To develop a close working relationship with all departments, colleagues and managers to ensure guest expectations are met.
• To develop strong working relationships with all customers in order to maximise sales opportunities and generate business for the future and encourage employees to do the same.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Food & Beverage Manager with a proven track record of delivering a high level of service in a quality, fast-paced hotel/restaurant environment. We are seeking clear and concise communication skills, experience of managing costs, ability to recruit and motivate a team and create a strong teamwork ethic.
