The Role

We have a brand-new opportunity for a Level 4 Apprentice Electrical Power Networks Engineer, to join our team, supporting a number of exciting projects for SSE in the South East.

Clancy is a great place to start your career, as we’re a corporate member of the AOA (Association of Apprentices), that connects apprentices across the UK via a dedicated social and professional networking platform.

Here are some of the activities you’ll get involved with...

• Analysing data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
• Designing complex distribution infrastructure, including Substations, Cable Systems and Overhead Lines.
• Using tools like AutoCad and Revit.
• Visiting sites to gather on the ground knowledge of constructability, areas of engineering difficulty and key risks.

What you need…

• At least Five GCSEs at grade C/4 (or above) which must include English, Maths and Science
• Level 3 qualification in Engineering or A Levels in Maths and Physics
• A full UK driving license as you will be required to attend site visits

In return, we will offer you...

• Support throughout the apprenticeship, to help you achieve a fully funded Level 4 recognised Electrical Power Networks Engineer qualification.
• Upon successful completion of your Level 4 qualification, you will have the opportunity to continue achieving qualifications and eventually becoming chartered.
